Christmas Morning 2007

So, this is my first time making a slide show,I hope it works. After going through all the pictures from Christmas morning, I realized we did a horrible job taking pictures. Just picture that the kids looked 10 times cuter than they do in all of these. I think I was too busy unwrapping dolls and action figures to really worry about pictures.

The kids had a great Christmas, it was the first time that they both really understood what was going on. They were so happy and so sweet. They loved every single toy they got. Although, I think the singing Belle from Mok wins the overall prize!

p.s. The last picture is Sunny holding her favorite cousin Anna. She is totally baby crazy and can't wait for her own little sister to get here.

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve this year. We spent it with a couple from our neighborhood and their three children. We had dinner, played games, read stories, and opened pajamas that "Santa" left on the doorstep. Unfortunately, we left our camera at home, so we don't have any pictures of that. These are all right before the kids went to bed.
They are so exicted they can hardly stand it!!!

Jackson is holding cookies for Santa, and Sunny has apples and carrots for the reindeer.

Merry Christmas To All, And To All A Goodnight!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

This is our attempt at a family christmas picture. I think it turned out pretty good, considering we were trying to hurry and get to church on time.

Brother and Sister

Jackson took this one of Ryan and I. Not quite centered, but not bad for a 4 year old!

Christmas Dress!

Apparently Sunny overheard me talking to my grandmother on the phone, so she knew one of her presents under the tree was a christmas dress. Being a sucker for opening presents early, when she asked to open it to wear to church today I let her. She was so thrilled with her "gorgeous" dress. She really loves it a lot. Thanks Mok!

One More Picture from the party.

Mom and Dad with the kids!
p.s. Pictures of Jax's foot and all the sordid details to come. (I know I should be more on top of it, but I'm not.) Promise I'll get to it soon.

Ward Christmas Party

This morning the kids and I went with my Mom and Dad to our Ward Christmas Party Breakfast!! It is always a blast.
Gotta love the ears.

In her new Christmas sweater from Mok.

Typical Jackson pose.

Don't let her face fool you. They both loved sitting on Santa's lap. This is the first year that they haven't cried. She was too busy telling Santa about how she wanted princessess to smile for the camera.

This is the best Santa ever. He is our Bishop's dad and he is great. The beard is real (If you were wondering!!)

Interesting

I know gas prices have been sucking money out of our wallets and frustrating many of us. Maybe one day there is an end to these prices. Here is an interesting article about oil in the U.S. http://www.stansberryresearch.com/PRO/0704OILCOL49/WOILH705/200704OIL-COL-49.html

For now and in the future lets all try to conserve and drive less if possible. Who knows maybe one day I might even try the bus.

Top 5 Christmas Movies

Ryan's top 5 Christmas movies

1. National Lampoons Christmas
Vacation-Chevy Chase is hilarious
along with cousin Eddy. What a
great Christmas movie. 25,000 lights.

2. Elf-Will Ferrell always makes
me laugh. "No it's not where's
all the snow". FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

3.Home Alone-I remember watching
this one as a child over and over. Thanks
Macakalalalalaky CKualkin, or however
you spell that. I think that was his only
good movie.

4. Not a Wonderful Life, or Miracle
on 34th street. -just too old for me.
and not funny. I like funny, even
serious, but probably not black
and white Christmas movies.

5. Christmas Story-Classic
Christmas movie. I am just
a little tired of it because they
show it for 24 straight hours
on Christmas day.

The First Snow *** Sunny Mae

Sunny's favorite part was eating the snow. She kept saying she was hungry, so I told her I'd fix some lunch when they were done. Finally after about 10 times, I realized she wanted permission to eat the snow. I told her she could try some, and after that I couldn't get her to stop. Luckily it was all really fresh and white.

Eating more snow.

Her snowsuit is size 18 months, and this is the first year it actually fits her. In the past she has just looked like a pink marshmellow.

A big snowball she made. Don't worry, she won't throw it, she'll just eat it.

The First Snow *** Jackson

This was the first snow storm of the year. Jax had a ball playing with 3 boys who live a couple houses down. They are wonderful kids, and they taught Jackson lots about snowball making and fighting.

Jackson and Daddy were on this side of the fence preparing for the battle (and also eating snow, lots of it).

Snowball Attack!!

He was loving this.

He actually got one of the boys right in the face (accidentally, or course).
Go Jackson!!
