Smiles

Isn't he adorable?!?!

She Is The Best

She is the best big sister ever!!! I don't know what I'd do without her to help me. I really miss her when she is gone to school. Grouchy old Griffin really loves her too. He calms down whenever she talks to him and he loves for her to hold him. I am really blessed to have such precious children. (Would it be too much bragging if I told you that Jackson and Lila are awesome with Griffin too!) They are all such sweet siblings and perfect for each other and our family.

Potty Pictures Ahead

I'm the first person to say I HATE pictures of kids on the potty, but I just had to do it. She is so funny. We aren't really potty training her, just kinda letting her do her own thing, but she is doing great. She was so proud of herself for going potty!

Let's Pretend...

that Sept. 16th was the first day of school this year. That way no one will know I forgot to take pictures of my kids on the real first day of school.

Really they were practicing their smiles for picture day. (Remember how Jax has issues with that weird fake smile.)

I know I'm biased, but he is a sweetheart!

Cougar Fan.. I think Not!

I think he prefers Alabama!

In fairness to the BYU fans in the family, I tried to take some pictures of Griffin in his BYU outfit. Apparently he wasn't thrilled.

I kept trying and I kept getting the same thing...screaming.

I just liked this one. (He was still screaming though.)

Dancing With The Blairs

I can only assume these pictures are a result of too much High School Musical in our house. Yes, even Jackson has taken to watching it with me and Sunny almost every day. At the beginning of the week they were watching it while I was cleaning and I came down to find them dancing --like ballroom dancing-- together. It was precious.

Notice Troy and Gabriella on the t.v.

The were copying the dance moving surprisingly well.

He got tired of me taking pictures, but look at her form. This girl has never had a dance lesson in her life, and she looks professional.

Lila's Chair

Lila is obsessed with Griffin's bouncy seat, which is fine by me because he hates it. She drags it in front of the t.v. and turns on the vibrating part and makes herself nice and cozy.

Obviously we don't buckle her in, but we did this one time and put the toy bar on. She thought it was so funny.

Animals

This is one of the reasons I love my new house! Last night I was standing at the kitchen sink and this was the view out my window. Those rocks are right where my backyard backs up to a little ravine, and the two deer were just standing there eating and staring at me. They were pretty good size too. I don't know if you can tell, but the one in the front had a pretty good set of antlers on him.

And now for some fake animals. My sis-in-law Jess made these for me. She made some for her etsy store and I saw them and wanted some for Griffin's room. They turned out so great. (If I didn't have a screaming baby on my lap I'd link this to her store, but I'm trying to hurry, so check out her blog on my list.)
She is so talented at EVERYTHING! Thanks Jess.

p.s. If you need a caterer for anything (wedding, baby shower, party, whatever...she is awesome.

Blessing

Get ready for a picture overload. We had a great day. Lots of good food and good family. Thanks so much everyone for being a part of Griffin's special day!

Griffin looked so sweet in his outfit. The white blanket belonged to Gracie and it was so special to be able to use it to bless Griffin. It was perfect.

My first real picture with all of my kids.

This is Griffin's true personality. Don't let his sweet face fool you, he is a grouch:)

Lila, who will be 18 months next week.

Thanks Jax for not cooperating.

At least he's smiling here.

This is the story of Griffin's life. He is constantly surrounded by his brother and sisters, and everyone wants to love on him.

What a blessing he is to our family. We love this little guy so much and are so grateful he got here safely.

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Griffin Is.

Thanks Mok for all the Alabama Gear. I think he looks pretty darn cute.

5 weeks old and getting bigger every day.

Peas in a Pod

Meet Sunny's new BFF!

These two are hilarious. They are both five and in kindergarten this year. Her Mom and I are carpooling together (which is lovely!!) and they live two houses down.

I think Sunny has met her match. They both love Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift, nail polish, and dress up. They play together every day and have the best time. They are not in the same class at school, but they both go in the morning. If you ask either one of them what was the
best part of their day at school they will tell you, "Recess", because they meet up on the playground everyday.

These two crack me up!

Cardiology Check-Up

Last month Jackson went to Primary Children's for his check-up, and then he went again today for a stress test. The results: Great, Awesome, Wonderful, No Restrictions on his activities (which means he can play whatever sports he wants!)

In August they did an EKG and and Echocardiogram and they said his valves leak a little, but nothing unusual for someone with his defect. When he went for the stress test today they said he was fabulous! Usually they cannot get 6 year olds to run on the treadmill and do all the things they need, but he did. The doctor didn't even want to talk to Ryan about the results b/c Jax's heart did so great there was nothing to say!

He will go in the fall again and be put to sleep for an MRI to check the profusion of blood throughout his heart. Apparently when they switched his aorta and pulmonary vein, they also switched several little blood vessels that supply blood to the heart, so they want to make sure they are working correctly and that his heart is getting all the blood supply it needs. And of course, we are expecting this to go just as great as all his other appointments. He is one tough kid, and we are definitely blessed by how healthy he continues to be!
