I have lots and lots of blogging to catch up on, including Griffin's birthday party.  He is having the "best birthday ever" and he couldn't be happier.  He even has Uncle B.J. here to celebrate with him.  It doesn't get any better than that!

Sharing

This is a funny sequence I happened to catch on camera the other day.

Both boys started out playing nicely with the wipes case.

Cameron grabbed it. Henny didn't know what to think about that.  After all, it is his wipes case.

Cameron found the whole situation amusing and decided to knock Henry over.

You can't really see it, but Cam is laughing through all of this.

Henry tried for the wipes one more time.

He made a last ditch effort to stop Cameron from crawling away with the prize.

But Cameron crawled away, stood up, and then walked over to Henry waving the wipes case in the air and laughing.  This battle goes to Cameron.

(FYI, if Cameron decides to take something, Henry is pretty much out of luck because he can't move as well yet.  However, he does have a secret weapon...he just doesn't always use it.  If Henry starts growling loudly, Cameron will drop whatever he has and run away.  He is super scared of that noise.  Once Henry figures that out, he will have it made.)

Highland Splash Pad

One of my favorite friends, who lived across the street from us, moved away in the beginning of June.  We have all missed her and her kids and were so excited to be able to meet up with them and several other friends at the splash pad in Highland.

Cameron and Morgan were getting reacquainted.  They are 3 months apart, but you really can't tell by looking.  Morgan is a pretty big kid, and Cameron is a tiny little guy.  I think they are perfectly perfect and they enjoyed hanging out together.  Morgan kept putting his arm around Cameron, but I couldn't catch it on camera.

Sunny spent a lot of time laying out and working on her tan.

Cameron crawled around and got into Kathy's bag a million times.

Sunny loves Maci and was so happy to see her.  They are such cute girls.

Griffin had a ball.  He loves being able to run free and do his own thing.

Lila, Maci, and Sunny laying out.

Easton didn't want to be in the picture.  He covered his face and turned around.  He is such a funny boy.

Jack was there too...although he must have been too busy playing to stop for a picture.

4th of July

We have a great neighborhood BBQ for the 4th of July every year.  It is super fun and we all love it.

I have too many pictures to try to caption them all, but they are all of the kids playing different games that we did for them.

 Water balloon pinata.

Standing in a pool with freezing ice water.

Pearl diving (grabbing marbles with your toes.)

Ryan and Justin went head to head.  Pretty sure no one won and the pool ended up being dumped out because they were so crazy.

I did it too.  I came in second place...I'll do better next year.

Ryan and I...about to celebrate our 10th anniversary.  That's Logan waving down there...he thought he was pretty funny :)

Bridal Veil Falls

Last week Ryan and I took the kids up Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls.  There is a short little hike/walk up to the falls and you can walk in the freezing water at the bottom.  There is also a hike that goes up pretty high, but we didn't do it with all the kids there.  I think we will take Jack and Sunny back by themselves so they can do it.

It was a beautiful day, and the freezing water felt fabulous.

After we played, we had a picnic.  This is how Cameron felt about the situation :)  He just wanted to go, go, go.

The kids found some fun rocks to play on and started posing and asking me to take pictures.  I thought it was pretty funny.

Pretty sure she got this pose from Dance Moms. If you've never seen it, you should.  It is terribly, wonderfully, awful, and quite honestly, it is my favorite show on t.v.  Obviously, Sunny likes it too.

And then Ryan decided to try planking again.  Yep, on the picnic table.  It was awesome.
