Griffin Got a Haircut

Griffin got his first "professional" haircut today.  We have been growing it out since August and it was pretty long.
He did NOT enjoy the shampoo.

Can you believe how long his hair was!?!  Last Sunday, I flat ironed his hair and I realized he had a major mullet going on.  I knew it was time for a trim.

What a cute kid you are Gman!

Jr. Jazz

Jackson started his first season of Jr. Jazz basketball today.  He was super excited.  The team has had a couple of practices already and Ryan is one of the coaches.

They killed the other team at the game today.  We didn't get a super accurate score but we think it was somewhere around 40ish-14.  Jack scored 16(ish) points (we think...I quit counting after the first 8) and had tons or rebounds, assists, and steals.

Jack and Mason( #13) made an unbeatable team.  They scored all the points for the team except for 1 basket.  How awesome is that!

I am so proud of my Jack and I'm glad he had a good time.

After trying soccer and baseball and not liking them too much, I think we have finally found Jackson's sport.  I can't wait for the game next week!

16 Months Old

My sweet baby is now 16 months old.  He is still such a funny kid.  He loves his brothers and sisters very much. Although Sunny is a clear favorite, followed by Griffin. He also loves his cousin Henry.

He talks a little bit, maybe 10 words or so, but usually he just grunts.  It is pretty funny.  He understands EVERYTHING!  He follows directions very well and is a really good listener.

He LOVES his Daddy!

In general he is a very easy going, laid back kid.  Except for the first hour and a half of church every week.  He HATES that.  He is so bad for me and Ryan that it is ridiculous.  But, we have discovered that he loves to sit with Kathy and he behaves perfectly for her.  Luckily she doesn't mind letting him sit with her sometimes so we can have a little break and listen to the speakers.

He is a great sleeper.  Usually 12-13 hours straight at night and 2 2 hour naps during the day.  This all goes out the window when he is sick though.  It doesn't matter what kind of sickness, or how bad it is, if he is sick, he doesn't like to sleep. We just got done with 3 days of a fever and no sleep.  Last night was his first "back to normal" night and I am so happy about it.

Today I changed his crib into a bed and he is napping right now.  As soon as I find the time, I will get rid of the whole crib and he will go to the bottom bunk and Griffin will be promoted to the top.

We love you lots little John-John...I mean Cam Cam...or is it Bam Bam... or
Cam Bam... or Bamberson...or Bambers...or Bambi...or Johnny?

Pretty sure it is all of the above.  We all have different nicknames for him around here.

I call him Cam, John-John, and Johnny.
Griffin calls him Cam Bam and Bambi
Jackson calls him Bambers or Bamberson
Lila calls him Cam Cam
and
I think Ryan and Sunny just call him Cam

Christmas Pictures

These are all the pictures I have from Christmas.

We went to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point.  The kids loved it. I think it will become a yearly tradition.

Lila had a Christmas pajama party at preschool.  It was super fun and she came home with a cute stuffed dog that she received at the gift exchange.

Christmas pajamas from Bear and Mimi.

Preschool Christmas Card.  Doesn't Lila look sweet?  She was so excited that she got to be Mary and hold the baby.

I took about 20 different pictures and didn't get a good one.  That seems to be a reoccurring theme around here.

First Time in the Snow

Clearly he wasn't thrilled. He did smile and slide a little, but he was ready to go in after 3 minutes or so.

Santa on the Firetruck

Our city has the cutest tradition of Santa riding around the neighborhood on a fire truck and throwing candy. The kids love it and look forward to it each year.

Clark Planetarium

Back in November, Sunny went on the 3rd grade field trip to the planetarium in Salt Lake.  I decided to go as a volunteer...because I've never chaperoned one of her field trips before...gasp...I know, bad me.

She was super excited and we really enjoyed the interesting exhibits and the cool show about planets and stars inside the dome theater.
