Now she taped a Pleasant Grove Rec Center schedule to the bag and came downstairs and told me we need to paint her nails a pretty hot-pinkish color for the blind children. Then she says she taped that on so the blind children's mothers would know they need to sign their blind kids up for kindergarten. Huh?

It's Official...

Sunny is strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She has been coming in the house for the last 5 minutes bringing me roses she is picking off our bushes. She just came and took them away and put them in a brown bag. Then she took the bag outside to collect more. Why you might ask?

"These are for the blind children at Primary Children's. You know, blind, like when your eyes don't work. Now they can look at these pretty flowers"

So, I'm not sure if she really knows what blind means or not. It's kinda sweet, but a little strange I have to admit. She has been talking a lot about being blind lately. I'm not sure where it is coming from though. I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Video of the Dance

So, we will see if this works or not. It's not very good quality b/c I had to jockey for position with about 500 annoying Mom's who were pushing and shoving and walking right in front of me. The song is I think called "Summertime. It's from High School Musical. I really didn't want to go today and probably shouldn't have with all the problems I've been having this week, but Jax was so excited and has been practicing so long I just couldn't miss it. Luckily my wonderful neighbor let me go with her and her husband and they even carried a chair for me. Jax knew I wasn't sure if I was coming or not, so when he saw me he smiled so big. He was thrilled and it was totally worth the extra contractions to walk over and see him.

Dance Festival

Don't let her smile fool you. She and Lila were both huge grouches the whole time.

Where's Jackson?
He's got on a red shirt and a blue and brown hat. In the center, towards the top of the picture.

I'm going to try to post the video clip I got. Don't know if I know how to do that or not, so we'll see.

28 Weeks

Same shirt as last time. Time is flying by, even though I still feel pretty yuck. Lots of contractions, as usual, but no bed rest yet. Hopefully that doesn't change after my appointment on Tuesday. I am still pretty teeny, but I think I finally look pregnant to people who don't know me. Only 9 or 10 more weeks until we get to meet him. Yea!

Sunny's Graduation

There wasn't enough room for grandparents at graduation, so we stopped by Mimi's afterward to show her the diploma and how cute Sunny looked.

With her Daddy. One of my favorite pictures.

Before it started.

Being a reindeer. It was covering her eyes and sliding down her face, but she kept singing.

Trying to keep the cap on her head.

Doing "the walk".

First Time In a Pool

The disclaimer for these pictures is this: She was crying while I was blowing up the pool in the house. She was crying before I ever turned on the water, and she was crying before I ever put her in the pool.

But isn't her bathing suit cute?

I guess she was just having a bad day.

I figured since she was already crying I'd just go ahead and stick her in the pool and get some pictures. It's too bad she was so grouchy. She loves the bath and I thought she would really enjoy the pool. Now she cries at the sight of it, or the sight of the hose.

At least Sunny appreciated my efforts.

What A Day!!

Today has been the day from ****! Seriously. First, Lila didn't go back to sleep when Ryan left for work like she usually does, so I had to get up earlier than normal. I am NOT a morning person! When I got her out of her crib she had a poopy diaper (hence the no sleeping I assume) and her whole room smelled like crap. Great way to wake up, especially since I still have morning sickness. That pretty much ruined any chance I had at breakfast so I went downstairs to play on the computer for a bit.

Around 10:30 I remembered Jax had to do his homework, so I go get it and he was supposed to make a Lion Diorama, due today! He had been telling me for a week he needed to make one, but I never saw the papers for it so I thought he meant in a few weeks. So, I go digging through my house for a shoe box, which we didn't have, and then load up all the kids and go to my parents to get one. Once that was done I told him to collect grass and weeds to glue into it.

At this point I notice he is a little sluggish and isn't acting quite right. So, I bascially do the whole project and by this point it is after 11:00. (We have to leave at 11:45 to get Sunny to school and then I usually drop Jax off on my way home at Manilla.) I go upstairs to get lunch ready and he says he has a sinus headache and needs a hot shower, I get him in, make lunch for the girls, get him out and he eats a few pieces of pineapple and a glass of milk.

We go downstairs and he does the rest of his homework papers and then all of a sudden says he is going to throw up. He makes it up the first flight of stairs before vomiting all over the wood floor. I'll spare you the details, but you know how it is right after they have eaten and especially right after a glass of milk!!! I go up to clean it up and Lila keeps following me up the stairs and I have to keep putting her back down and she is screaming. Luckily Jax can clean himself up and he did and then layed on the couch.

Now it is time for Sunny to go to school, so I leave him on the couch with cartoons and run over and take her to school. Lila falls asleep in the car and I get home and put her to bed. Then I layed down for a little nap. Nope, now Jax is up and wanting to eat because the headache is gone and he is all better. Then Lila wakes up after 45 mins (not usual, and again, she didn't sleep in the morning) so I am up. Next thing I know it is time to pick up Sunny and now both kids are outside playing with their friends and perfectly happy.

It doesn't sound so bad when I'm reading this back to myself, but it was, and I was having contractions the whole time and I might even admit to a few swear words. (Mostly over the fact that I had to make that stupid diorama and then he didn't even get to go to school).

Oh well, on to piano lessons, and then Ryan will be home. Good thing days like this are few and far between!
