Ryan made dinner for the kids and then left the kitchen to go do something. When I walked in, this is how I found them. They had their plates set nicely on the floor and were enjoying their dinner......under the table. I got a big kick out of it and told them to hold still while I got the camera. They were both so proud of their idea. They are so sweet to each other and have so much fun together. This is totally typical of the plans they hatch when left alone together.

Stuff

So I realized that it has been awhile since I have posted so here comes some good stuff. Okay so maybe not, but just thought I'd change things up for once, then Sarah will put more stuff on about the kids. I decided to make my list of random things that I enjoy or don't, that are pathetic, not pathetic, stupid, funny or anything else. So here it is....
1-Will Ferrell movies- Anchorman is one of the best movies of all time. You have to watch at least 4 times to really appreciate it. All of his movies are pretty darn funny.
2-The Hills-Yeah this falls under the pathetic category, but for some reason I always end up watching. If anyone doesn't know this show, it is on MTV, that says a lot about it. Sometimes I also watch the Real World. Basically the same kind of crap. MTV is a pathetic station in general.
3-Diet Mtn. Dew, Coke, or Pepsi- Yeah I officially have a problem with these drinks. I know I really need to stop drinking them but diet dew is extremely addicting. The other night I went without one the whole night, for the first time in awhile and I woke up the next morning with a terrible headache. I think it is time to make a new years resolution.
4-Local sports talk radio- This one drives Sarah crazy. She cannot stand to listen to it. Whenever I am in the bathroom I turn it on. In the car it is always on. It has taken over music in my car (what is wrong with me), most the time.
5-BYU Football, College football, NFL- I really enjoy watching, talking, hearing, smelling, anything to do with football. BYU is the favorite here. I am beginning to analyze the games as if I was a coach. Football is just plain great. College is the best, but I like the NFL also, I just don't follow it as close.
6-Basketball- Just a little behind football in greatness. I like to watch the Jazz, and BYU bball the most. Once March Madness rolls around, it is hard to get me away from the tv, I will watch anyone play, and love to play bball also.
7-My kids are cute- Don't think that because I numbered these items that the kids get put at 7 for a reason. They really would be number 1 if it was top ten list, but the items are just random. Did I mention that my kids are cute.
8-Vacuuming- I love to vacuum and make lines in the carpet. I hate walking on the carpet after it is clean because the lines get ruined. Sadly, having kids makes it difficult for lines to stay very long. This is a little OC of me.
9-Gas prices stink- I have come to the point where I don't even want to drive anymore. I think I might start running everywhere. I will get in good shape, and be late to everything. Sounds good, not. I even have a car with good gas mileage and I hate it. Sometimes I let the empty light come on, because I want to avoid paying $3.00 a gallon for gold, I mean gas. When my car eventually dies, I will get a car with even better gas mileage because I hate gas so much.
10-texting while driving-The other day I was behind some kid who was swerving all over the road. I thought at first maybe he was intoxicated but then realized he kept lifting up his phone and texting. If it is that important that it makes you swerve maybe you should stop or just call the person. Also I hate when I am walking down the hall at school and someone is texting and not looking up to see where they are going. Sometimes I just want to run into them on purpose so they will drop their phone.
Nice job if you actually read through all this jibberish-Ryan

Random Pictures
Jackson asked me how he could grow big and get muscles. I told him he had to exercise by lifting heavy things. He was pretty impressed with himself when he lifted his b-ball goal and told me to put it on the blog.
Yes, my kids are in their pajamas in the middle of the day!!
I love this picture of Sunny. It's one of my favorites.
Her "best" smile.

Lila Cate

Well, I told Ryan I wouldn't put anymore pictures of Lila on the blog (I think he is tired of all the ultrasounds). Anyway, I couldn't help it. Today we had our 20 week ultrasound and Lila looks great. There has been a little debate about the due date, but after today it is settled, March 31st. So, I'm officially 19 weeks and 2 days (Not 18 like the picture says).
The ultrasound tech said Lila is one of the most active babies she has ever seen. She was sucking her thumb and flipping all over the place. She is weighing in at 10oz, which puts her in the 94% (HOLY COW!!!). Next week we will visit Primary Children's for a fetal echocardiogram for the final word on her heart, but from what we have seen it is completely healthy. We are so excited to meet our newest baby girl this spring!!!

A Girl and Her Swing
Today I sent the kids outside to play. Jackson came in after about 15 minutes and started building legos. About 30 minutes later, I realized Sunny was still outside by herself. I went out to check and I found her swinging. ALL BY HERSELF!!! She loves people to swing her and until now has been unable to figure out how to do it alone. She ended up staying outside for over a hour, just swinging by herself. She was so proud.

3D Pictures of Little Lila
For the past month, well ever since we found out our new baby is a girl, I have been having doubts. I have been driving Ryan crazy telling him about how I was afraid she was gonna change into a boy. Luckily, I have a wonderful friend who is an ultrasound tech. I told her about it and she told me to come in and she would double check. She had already told me she would do a 3D ultrasound for me in a couple months, so I was thrilled when she offered to do this for me also. Anyway, the good news is................she is still a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got to see Lila in 3D which was really awesome. They usually don't do it this early (18ish weeks) b/c the babies still don't have a lot of fat on them, and they look rather skeletal. If you can't make it out. Her head is at the top, chin to her chest, and she is sucking on her little hand.
This one is kinda looking from the side, again her chin is to her chest, and she has a little hand up by her face.
The best news of all was the Lila's heart looks great. She doesn't have TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries), like Jackson. Everything else looks really healthy too. It was really great to get another peak at Lila. We will also get a chance to see her again next week, and the following week. YEA!!!!!!!!
