Easter Pictures

The theory behind all the pictures is that with this many we are bound to get at least one good picture of each person. Too bad we couldn't get one decent picture of all of us. Oh well, this is the best I could do today. Lila and Jax were NOT cooperative. I wish they would have been. Mok sent the kids their Easter clothes and they were all so cute today.

Lila wouldn't hold still for a picture today. We are trying to hold her down, or chasing her in every picture.

Not good!

She was so mad.

Crying, but a good shot of her dress.

Still mad.

"Let go of me"

The best I could do of all three.

Seriously, the theme of this year's pictures is "Try to get Mom to take 100 pictures and do something to ruin each one." It'll be a funny memory at least :)

"Dialing" Easter Eggs

So, Sunny calls it dialing, Jackson tried to correct her 50 times, but she just wasn't having any of it. So from now on, "dialing" eggs is what we will call it.

Jackson was in charge of the blue.

Sunny with her pink and purple.

The finished eggs.

Kangaroo Zoo

Today we went to Kangaroo Zoo for Jax's birthday party. We took his best friend Kadin with us. All the kids had so much. Sunny kept up with the boys, and Lila loved walking all over the place.

Going down the slide

There aren't many picture of Jax b/c he wouldn't stop to let us take any. Ryan had to hold him down to get this one.

Isn't she cute!!!

A rare one of me.

She was so happy to be able to run wherever she wanted.

Always a poser.

Daddy with his baby girl.

Riding a dinosaur.

I wanted a cute picture of her on this orange couch b/c the color was so pretty, but she would not cooperate at all. She just wanted to climb all over it.

After we wore the kids out playing we went to Wendy's to get kid's meals and frosty's for lunch. What a fun birthday!

Easter Party

Sunny was so excited for her preschool Easter party. She got all dressed up for the occasion in her dress that Mok sent her.

Happy 6th Birthday Jax

Jax's birthday was actually yesterday, but we were gone all day and I didn't have time to blog about it. He had a great day! These are of him opening his package from Mok and Pok. He loved everything. He got his own scooter, a remote control car, some kind of disc-launcher thing that he LOVES, a game, and some sticker and coloring books. As he was opening his presents he turned to me and said, "You know why all this is so cool, because I'll never be bored again!" I think I'll hold him to that. Thanks Mok for all the great presents. You definitely have a knack for knowing what my kids will love.
Scootering around my front room!

Lila got this bunny in the birthday package. She carried it around forever, but as soon as she set it down Sunny claimed it for her own. It's name is foo-foo and it will be going to preschool for show and tell with Sunny on Friday.

On Sunday afternoon we went to Nana's to watch conference and have a big party with Ryan's family. We have several April birthday's, so there was lots of yummy food and cake. Nana got Jackson Mario and Sonic at the Olympics for his Wii and he loves it. Thanks Nana.

I seriously can't believe my first baby is 6. Time has flown by. We are so grateful for him in our family. He is such a special kid. He is the best big brother to his sisters, and a wonderful example to all of us. Seriously, I'm not exaggerating. If you know Jackson, you know it is the truth. He is just about the best kid EVER!!!

A Good Day

For the second week in a row I was able to go grocery shopping by myself (well, without Ryan but with the girls) and this week I didn't almost pass out 15 times during the trip. I did almost throw up in the car, but I didn't. Yea!!! Then I came home and unloaded it all, which means carrying everything up 2 flights of stairs, and organized it in the kitchen. I'm definitely spent now, but so proud of myself. Good days (health wise) are few and far between for me, so I really appreciate them when I have them.

And...

I'm a sewer now!! I busted out my machine and have made a ton of stuff. I'll have to take some pictures later. I even made my very own newborn sized diaper for Griffin.

1 Year Stats

Lila had her check-up today with Dr. Wilcox. She is 12 1/2 months old.

19 lbs 2 oz = 20th%
28.5 inches = 30th%
17 inch head = 6th%

We are thrilled that she has actually started to grow a little bit. The doctor thinks she has a milk protein allergy and so she wasn't growing that well the last 3 months when we switched her to a milk based formula. She has been on soy milk for the last month and a half and we can really tell a difference. She is actually starting to feel heavy!!! Poor baby had to get 4 shots, one in each arm and one in each leg. Sunny went with me to help with Lila though, and did a great job distracting her.
