Could He Be Any Cuter???

Since Lila graduated to the booster seat a few weeks ago, the highchair has been taken over by Griffin. He doesn't eat of course, he just sits and smiles and loves to be a part of family dinner.

I just love to see his smile. I have a video that I'm going to try putting on here next. Blogger has been giving me a hard time lately, so we'll see if it works or not!

Big Girl

This will be two posts in one. First of all, I never put pictures of the girls room on the blog, so here they are! We got the girls these new dressers this week. They had my old white furniture that Mok and Pok got me years ago. It still looked good, but was starting to fall apart after all the times we've moved it. I didn't want to move Lila into this room until we had new furniture that I knew was safe and wouldn't tip over on her. Yes, it is very white. Basically I haven't done anything to this room. Same bedding as the old house and there is an ugly pink border around the top that I don't feel like taking down right now. Someday this room will get decorated, but not today :)

Part two of this post is that Lila is now sleeping in her big girl bed and doing great. About 2 months ago I tried to get her out of the crib but it was a big failure. Now in the span of about two weeks she has

1. Given up her bop (pacifier) that she was majorly attached to (and acted like it was no big deal. Ask her the story, she'll tell you.)

2. Given up her high chair in favor of a booster seat.

3. Given up the crib. She is so proud of being in Sunny's room and in a big bed like sister. It's amazing how fast they change and grow. I can't believe my little Lila is growing up so fast.

Now everyone is in their proper bedroom and I couldn't be more thrilled with Lila!

Down

This would be the flight of stairs that Sunny fell all the way down yesterday. I was up in my room building the dressers, and she was going down to help Ryan with Griffin. I guess she just missed the first step. All I heard was a scream and thump, thump, thump, as she rolled all the way down. Thankfully she wasn't hurt except for a little bump on her nose. Scary. I knew someone would fall at some point, I was betting on it being Lila though. I'm just glad it wasn't down the unfinished basement stairs.

Halloween 2009

Much to everyone's disappointment Ryan did not come through with a Coach's outfit. He had to work most of the day and didn't have time to do it. I was however the (lamest) assistant coach.

We spent the day at Mom's and then met Ryan at his Mom's house for dinner and trick or treating with Uncle Jordan, Aunt Julie, and cousins Leah and Asher. The kids all had a great time together.

At my Mom's house in the morning. Sunny had a Halloween party to go to so the other kids and I hung out with Mom. She had a great time (Thanks Emma and Rachel!).

My beautiful princess! Her hair was adorable.

The two purple princesses.

I love Lila's sneaky grin in this one. I was trying to get a picture of the big girls together and she was feeling a bit left out, so she decided to start hamming it up for the camera.

Griffin's First Halloween

He was the cutest little horse ever! I had to post all his pictures because I couldn't choose just one. I love his big smiles.

All tuckered out after trick or treating around the block!

I Just Love This One

This is my favorite picture of my four, and I thought it deserved its own post. I love how they are all lined up in order of age and height. I most especially love that all the big kids are looking at the camera and smiling. They are all so precious (if I do say so myself :)

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday the kids and I finally got around to carving our pumpkins. Just a tip, make sure your pumpkins are room temperature before you carve them. Scooping freezing cold seeds and pulp from a frozen pumpkin is hard work and just about impossible for cold little hands.

She was the all-star of pumpkin carving. She cleaned out her pumpkin, Lila's and Griffin's, and then Jax begged her to do his because his hands were too cold! You can always count on Sunny Mae to get the job done!

Love Jax's smile. We get so few pictures with his real smile in them.

Lila wasn't too sure about all this at first, but by the end she didn't want to stop.

Mr. Grouch with his baby pumpkin.

These are out of order, but this is the kids before their school Halloween parade today. Snake Eyes/Ninja, and Sharpay.

Doesn't he look thrilled?

The finished product. This was the "crazy" picture. Sunny always insists we have one.

My sweet 4! Enjoying sitting on the kitchen table.

Lila hard at work. Hers turned out really cute and we found lots of fun stuff inside. While we weren't watching she shoved all the seeds and stuff back inside, along with some color crayons.
