Christmas Party

Sunny wished for a pointer. (Like the kind her teacher uses)

Jackson wished for Pokey Park for Wii

Lila wished for "Princess stuff"

All of my sweeties. Griffin loved it...can't you tell.

This year the kids were lucky enough to get to go to two Christmas parties. Last night, Ryan and the big two went to our ward's party and talent show. They had a ball and loved seeing Santa. They are also extremely obsessed with tap dancing after watching a couple in our ward do a routine.

This morning we continued our yearly tradition of going to the breakfast at my parents ward. We were in this ward for 4 years and we love it. It is a great time to be able to see old friends and I'm always amazed at how much all my old primary kids have grown.

Guess What's Coming...

Disneyland Pictures!

I know, it's been 2 months since we went, but get ready because there are a lot of them!

1st Grade Christmas Program

Tonight was Sunny's Christmas program at her school. She was so excited. She has been waiting for tonight for awhile.

Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Simpson. We LOVE her. She is so great and I'm thrilled that Sunny ended up in her class. Sunny thinks she is the greatest thing ever!

Sunny and her friend Emery. Aren't they adorable? They were on the very bottom row, which meant we couldn't see Sunny...at all. Shhh, don't tell her that. I imagine that she was the best of all the kids!

Mimi held Lila up to see her big sis. She kept saying, "Yook, yook, I see Sunny." Of course she didn't, but she thought she did and that is all that matters to her.

Right when we got there Sunny found her teacher and she took Sunny to get her stuff and find her spot. I love the big boots with her jammies!

Facebook 2010

A collage facebook made of some of my statuses from the past year. It's small, hope you can read it. It's been a great year with some rough patches, but we've made it through. I'm definitely thankful for my friends and family. Especially my four sweet babies!

(I think it will get bigger if you click on it)

Thanksgiving 2010

These are completely out of order and random, but at least I'm updating my blog. We are over at Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving and I used Dad's camera and computer. Mine is still having issues, but rest assured, one day I will get Disneyland and Halloween pictures on here. But for now...The first two pictures are of course, Little G. He is not feeling very well and is pretty grouchy today. He only wants his Daddy.

Sunny playing our traditional Thanksgiving Bingo game.

Lila's first year to play. She totally got and it understood exactly how to play. Pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old.

On the first round of Bingo, all three kids tied. We couldn't have planned it any better. How the heck did that happen?

Lots of art projects.

Lila loves to draw, just like her big brother and sister.

Sweet sisters.

Okay, so he didn't cry the whole time. He was pretty excited to eat. Food always makes him happy.

Also, for those who know, notice the new haircut. I was trying to grow his hair out and it was pretty long. It was turning into a mullet and I just couldn't stand it anymore. We buzzed it and now he has spiky hair again.

Lila was excited to be here. She loves everything.

When I Grow Up...

When I grow up, I'm going to be like Taylor Swift...only better.

Sunny is so adorable. She has had an obsession with Taylor for quite awhile. She knows every song from her first two cd's and sings them all the time. Yesterday I got her the new cd that just came out and this awesome Taylor t-shirt.

Sunny is so talented when it comes to music. Other people probably don't know how good she is because she is so shy, but trust me, she is amazing. She has a beautiful voice and loves to sing. Recently she decided she wanted to learn how to play the guitar. For now she is learning on Ryan's, but I think Santa is planning on bringing her one that is just her size (and made for a lefty).

She wants to be like Taylor, but I think she's going to be better. Maybe one day she'll let me video tape her so everyone can see. You'd love it...I promise.

Chicken Puffs

My blog is boring, I know. I'm having camera issues, so no new pictures. I do have Disneyland and Halloween pictures waiting though.

In the meantime, here is a yummy recipe I made today.

I present to you...the chicken puff!

The basic idea is:

About a block of cream cheese
A smidgen of milk (just enough so you can mix it all up)
Chicken (I used canned)
Green Onions ( I used about a half a bundle. I really like them, you could use less)
Garlic Powder (or fresh garlic, minced)

Mix it all up and wrap it up in a crescent roll.
Bake at 375 for about 12 minutes.

Yep, that's it. Super easy and you can also tweak it very easily. I didn't have enough cream cheese so I added a spoonful of sour cream and a bit of shredded cheese. You could also saute some onion and garlic and use that. I also think some finely chopped celery might add a nice crunch.

These are delicious. Seriously. Try them.
