First Bath

So, I have about 100 pictures (really) of the last week and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed about the idea of trying to blog them all. I want to, and eventually I will, but for now I think I'm going to just try to do the easier stuff, even if it is a little out of order. With that in mind, here are pictures of Cam's first bath.

Obviously he was not a fan. He is such a good baby and doesn't cry at all. This was the first time we have gotten to hear what his cry sounds like. I don't think the bath was the problem. I think it was the fact that he was hungry and wanted to eat before the bath instead of after.

He's Here

Just a few pictures to tide you over until I blog the whole story.

First, Cameron getting ready to come home. Ryan brought just Sunny with him to the hospital to help me dress Cam and get him ready to go. He was not thrilled with the car seat, but he calmed down pretty quickly.

Best big sister ever.
She is so thrilled and is such a sweet helper.

Brand new baby.

Cameron John

7 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long

Right after he was born. Still in the labor and delivery room. I look pretty good (if I do say so myself.)

Home at last and happy in his swing.

36 Weeks

Almost done :)

Here is baby Cameron at 36 weeks. Some days I am feeling huge and other days I feel really tiny, mostly I just feel ready to be done.

This is Lila at 36 weeks. Just a few days before she was born.

(Please ignore Sunny's horrible face)

This one is Griffin at 35 weeks.

Okay, so looking at those, I think I am bigger this time, but I'm not sure why. I feel like Cameron is going to be smaller than both of them were, but we'll see. I am actually feeling semi-okay some of the time (that's my positive spin on, "I feel horrible 90% of the time"). I think once I hit 36 weeks, a huge mental weight is lifted off my shoulder because I know he'll be okay if he is born.

I am still having tons of contractions. Pretty much around the clock. They are mostly braxton hicks, with some real ones mixed in randomly. Hopefully I'll last at least one more week, but then I'm ready. I'm hoping for next weekend!

For Hayden and Piper

Griffin and Lila were working on some pictures for you.

Lila was super excited and didn't want to wait to mail it to you.

So, here is the finished picture. She hopes you like it :)

FYI

They looked just as cute today as they did yesterday.

Jack actually asked to have his picture taken.

And...they got to ride bikes to school with all their friends.

It doesn't get any better than that!

Back to School

Yay for school! The kids were so excited to go back and I took tons of pictures. They are all out of order and I'm not even going to try to fix them. Jackson is in 3rd grade and Sunny is in 2nd grade this year. So, in crazy random order, here we go:

Sunny with her bff's Emery and Makayla. These three are so adorable! Unfortunately, they all three got different teachers this year.

Jackson in his line waiting for his teachers. He has two teachers that team teach. Mrs. Mair and Mrs. Spencer. We hear they are fabulous!

Sunny's line with her teachers sign. Her teacher, Miss Layne, seems to be lovely.

Her friend Emery brought her a little birthday present to school this morning. Sunny was thrilled!

My two little monsters. They loved dropping the kids off. After we left Jack and had walked a good distance away I noticed they were both looking back. I asked if they wanted to hug him one more time and they both took off running back to him and hugged him up. What sweet kids I have.

Jackson is such a dork. After not wanting to cooperate for pictures, we came in the house and he decided he actually did want me to take one of him.

Jack did not want to take pictures this morning. He can be so stubborn. Wonder where he gets that from ?!?!
Weird hand thing, but cute smile.
I'll take what I can get from him.

Finally a smile. Thanks to Keagan and Kaiden for making him laugh.

Of course Griffin wanted his picture taken too. He still does the squinty eyed smile. I love it.

We parked in the church parking lot next to the school and all walked over together. It was such a beautiful morning.

One of a million cute pictures of Sunny. The girl doesn't take a bad one. It doesn't get any better that having your birthday on the first day of school.

Her favorite new outfit that Mimi got her. Pretty cute!

Last but not least...little Lila Cate, looking like she just rolled out of bed. That girl definitely has "morning hair," but isn't she sweet :)

Sunny is Seven

Happy Birthday to the best little girl ever!

I will refrain from writing all about Sunny and how wonderful she is because it would be too long! Let's just say she is the sweetest, most helpful, best sister, best helper, EVER! I don't know what I'd do without her and I can't believe she is 7.

I asked her today if she would stay little forever and she said no. Only because she'd really like to be old enough for a cell phone, a car, and her own laptop.

Sunny has had a fabulous birthday. She bought herself a brand new big bike with her birthday money from Mok.
Mimi took her back to school shopping and she picked out tons of new outfits and a cute new backpack.
Aunt Jess and Uncle Josh got her a sparkly new shirt and a barbie that goes in the bathtub.
Her Daddy got her a wii game that comes with a baby doll that you "babysit" and do activities with.
And...the best present of all...Taylor Swift concert tickets for next month.

She is a lucky and loved little girl. I'm so glad she's mine :)
