All Things October

We went to a cute little pumpkin patch right here in Eagle Mountain, and the kids chose their own pumpkins.

Sunny had a mother/daughter Activity Day's party.  We had so much fun with the other 4th grade girls and their Moms.

Sunny looked like the princess and Makayla was the evil queen.

They are quite dramatic :)

Cameron discovered leaves for the first time.

We went to Pumpkinland, which is always a hit.

The corn maze was great.  Not too easy, not too hard.

A rare picture of Ryan and I.
But ignore the awkward angle that gives me a double chin.

Cam liked the bouncy house.

We also went to the Stringtown Nightmare Express, which is a "haunted" train ride in Lindon.  The kids liked it, Ryan and I weren't super thrilled.  Lots of waiting in line for a short ride.

We carved pumpkins.

Sunny also got to decorate a pumpkin for her October book report at school.

Then of course, we have the annual Halloween Parade at school.  Lila hasn't learned that you have to stop walking for your Mom to get a picture.

I volunteered for Lila's class party and it was so much fun.  She really has a great class.

Lila at her table spot with the little girl who sits next to her.  Her name is...get this...Sunny!  I know, right.  She is the only other Sunny that we have met.  Lila loves being in class with "little sunny"

After Lila's party I went and did Sunny's class party. She and Rakel are still quite the pair.

Ryan was a weird monkey.

And...then we went trick or treating and the month was finally over!

Summer Ended

Summer ended, but we sure enjoyed those last few days.

The kids love running around in the field while we wait for Jack and Sunny after school.  Sad to think it will be covered in snow before too long.

Jack went on the 5th grade overnight trip to Clear Creek and had a blast.

Football season started and is in full swing for this house full of *mostly* Bama fans.

Our New Nephew Was Born

Josh and Jess had their second son on Sept. 9th.  When he was 3 weeks old, I went down to visit with my Mom and Sunny.

Sunny is a baby-lover, just like her mother.

Lots of poor quality pictures, but basically all we did was lay around on the couch and snuggle that baby.  It was a perfect weekend.

American Girls

Sunny and Lila are way into American Girl Dolls.  These pictures are from Sept. when they made "bed rooms" for their girls.  Now, picture this time 100 in their room.

The girls love to watch videos that other little girls have made with American Girl dolls on youtube.  I have found several videos on my phone that my girls made.  This is just a *******small********* sampling of the videos they have done.

Lots of Old Pictures Coming Your Way

Back in Sept. Griffin got a haircut. (He has since had 3 more, but this was the biggie where we chopped off his long beautiful locks.) He looked so much older with short hair.

Cam decided he likes to do a really cheesy smile for pictures.  It is funny.

We found out that Jackson is as blind as a bat and he got glasses.  He has stopped getting headaches now that he has glasses (he had been getting them quite often...oops), and he can tell a big difference at school.

My Mom and I took the big 3 to see "Tarzan" at the Hale Centre Theater.

Look, they look like they actually like each other :)

Jackson was in a picture taking mood, which doesn't happen very often.
