See the huge anaconda? It is usually all curled up and sleeping. Not today! It was all over the place. Coming up out of the water and following the kids through the glass. It was way cool.
We went to Mom's school to help get her classroom ready for the year. The kids always love to go and hang out and play with the white board markers.
Sunny really loves the lockers the best. She dreams of the day she will be in high school and have one of her own. She decided to do some poses by the lockers and I had to take her picture. She is such a ham.
Here in Utah, it can raid hard for 5 minutes and this happens. It is crazy. This is the wash behind our house. It has filled up a couple other times with water, but I think this is the highest and fastest it has ever been.
There was some flooding over in another part of town and they used sandbags to divert the water off of the road an into the gully. This filled up super fast. One minute it was a trickle and the next it looked like a raging river.
We have done lots and lots of swimming this summer. We especially love the old Lehi pool. We also love to take family selfies in the car before we go in to the pool.
This was on Pioneer Day, which is July 24th, for those who don't live in Utah. In my mind it is a totally weird Utah holiday and we don't really do anything to celebrate, so we spent hours at the pool with Mimi and Bear.
Ryan and I celebrated our 12th anniversary on July 26th. We went out to a nice relaxing dinner and enjoyed it very much. Seems like these past 12 years have flown by. It blows my mind to think that in 12 more years, our kids will be 23, 22, 18, 17, and 15. Wow!
