The End of Preschool

With his buddy Caleb at graduation

With Miss Toni. She is a neighbor,  a good friend, and she seriously lives just around the corner! We just love her.  She is an amazing teacher and I'm so excited to have found her preschool.  We can't wait for Cameron to go for the next 2 yearas.

Griffin memorized 100 sight words this year.  It was amazing and he was the only kid to do it.

His other bestie, Josh.

Look how tall he is compare to all the other kids.  This kid is huge!

Smiling at his buddy Owen who he met at school.  Owen's family just moved into the neighborhood last week and we are so excited to have him close by.

End of the year fun!

5K

Back in the beginning of May we did our first 5K. It was a charity event for a family that we really loved and we wanted to support them.  They had tons of cool characters who posed with the kids for pictures. Cam was in Heaven!

It was a cold rainy morning.  I loved that we had 4 of the kids with us.  Sunny declined to participate saying, "I don't do things that make me sweat or that involve competition."  So yeah :)

Most of the kids 5 and under either rode in a stroller, biked, or were pulled in a wagon.  Both of my boys ran/walked the whole thing.  Except for a few moments here and there were Cam convinced Mimi to give him a ride.

Finishing the race together.

Jack was the first of our group to finish.  His time was 24:40.  Ryan ran with Lila and they finished in 40 minutes.  Mom and I stayed with the little boys and finished in 59 minutes.

We found out that Jack loves to race and he has since done another 5K with plans to run in another one on 6/6.

Hope of America

Each year, all the 5th graders in the school district get to perform in the Hope of America program.  It is held at the Marriott Center on the BYU campus.  We had really bad seats, so all the pictures are horrible.  But, the kids all have a red, white, blue, or yellow shirt and the form a giant American Flag.  Sunny was yellow which is the border around the flag so they were up on the very top.

This is my favorite song from the program.  The lights go out and the kids use their flashlights.  It makes me cry every time I see it.

Choir 2015

Whitney, Sunny, and Lexi.  Rakel wasn't there yet.  Sunny has such great friends.  I love them all and I'm glad they got to do choir together this year.

In December they had a concert at the high school.  I had to drop the girls off and hour and a half early for a practice, but we had no idea where they were supposed to go. I was nervous and wanted to walk them inside to find their teacher.  They told me, "See ya later, we've got this."  I think they liked feeling grown up.

My favorite song from this year.  "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho."

Jack's 12th Birthday

We did pizza and bowling for Jack's birthday with year with Mom and Dad.  We hadn't been bowling since Lila was a baby, so the kids thought it was awesome.

Jack at 7th grade registration.  He is so excited for Middle School in the fall.

You can tell he doesn't love his picture taken.  He takes after his Uncle B.J.

We sure do love Jack.  He is turning into such a great young man.  He is great with his siblings and really helps me out a lot.  He does ridiculously well at school, and has a great group of friends who hang out at our house a lot.

At his middle school physical he was 58 1/4 inches tall and 72 pounds. And, because I know he would want me to document it, he did indeed cry during his shots.  But as he said, "Well at least I didn't kick the nurse this time."  Truer words were never said :)

Easter 2015

Easter 2015 pics.  Lila looked adorable.  She had two Easter dresses this year.  My mom got her one and I got this one at a yard sale for 4 dollars.  She loves it.

Sunny was exhausted from the play the night before so she slept in and didn't go to church that day.  I did wake her up for a minute so she could take our pictures.

One with Sunny with leftover stage hair and makeup.  Still adorable though.  I don't think that girl knows how to take a bad picture.

This was Sunny's Easter dress that she kindly modeled for me the day she got it.  It is pretty darn cute on her. Also, she looked about 13 because she was trying it on right before leaving to the play so she had full stage makeup on.
