I'll be you didn't even notice we were gone did you? Well, the morning after I posted last, I went to power up our laptop and it crashed. Our poor hard drive and everything on it -- GONE!! We knew it was coming, but we weren't prepared. I'm sure we can recover our files and pictures, but I bet it will cost a pretty penny =(
The good news is, we are back online with our new and improved computer. It's funny how much technology changes, and how fast. Our old laptop was 5 years old (and pretty fast I thought), so this new one seems like such a luxury to us. I'm just glad to be back online. You don't realize how much you rely on the Internet. I thought we could do without it for awhile, but quickly realized we couldn't. I mean, what would we do without online bill-pay?

i noticed! im sorry for your loss. its happened to me before, and it is horrible. losing everything on your computer is terrible. i lost over 8,000 songs when mine went caput. it was terrible. i might have cried..
Time to buy that external hard-drive and start the Windows backup service at regular intervals :-) Sorry about the loss of all that stuff, hopefully you can get it back.
