My Mom's been after me forever to post pictures of our house and the kids rooms so that everyone back home can see where we live. So, here they are. FYI, our lawn is all dying and dug up b/c we got our secondary water hooked up last week and the pipe broke right where it connects to the city pipe. We are trying to get it fixed, but I don't know if our poor grass is gonna make it. Hopefully it will get fixed soon so we can get our front yard looking decent again.
Our house is a three level split, but then it has one more flight of stairs down to this room. It used to be a toy room, but after having Lila in my room for two months I decided some room shuffling was in order. We have cleaned out a lot of toys and this is now Jax's room. I was nervous about him being so far away at night, but he doesn't care a bit. He loves his big boy room away from the little girls. He also loves that he has the biggest room. I'll have to admit it is a pretty awesome room for a 5 year old.
Sunny has the green room. She uses the furniture that Mok and Pok bought me in middle school. It still looks great, and is perfect for sweet Sunny. What you can't see in this picture is the pile of clothes by the closet. We cannot keep Sunny out of her clothes. She changes several times a day and empties out her closet and drawers. It makes me so mad, but I know she isn't trying to make a mess, she just loves trying on clothes.
This is our newest room. Little Liley's. It used to be Jax's, and when we moved in it was this tan color with a navy blue accent wall. It was perfect for Jax. When we moved Lila in here I just left the wall b/c I didn't feel like painting. That lasted all of 2 days. The colors just clashed so bad I couldn't stand it. I painted it purple b/c I figured it would cover the dark blue pretty easily -- and it did. Her room is a mish-mash of furniture and it actually turned out pretty good. I love having a place for her and all her stuff.
So, that's our house. If anybody wants to come visit, we've got room for you (especially you Uncle Bill J).

Sarah, the rooms are beautiful and so tidy!! You're very creative.
How cute! I love all the bright colors in their rooms--seems to match thier personalities too. And if your anything like me (which you probably aren't...) you had to clean every room and make every bed before picture time! :)
DO you have room for visitors like the Carters should we venture up north?? Love the way Lila's room turned out!
Always room for the Carters. Well, at least a floor..hahaha. The secret behind the clean house is that we store everything in the office. And, by store I of course mean throw everything in there and now you can't even get the door open. Oh well, we don't need an office anyway. It makes a great storage room.
Hey Sarah, cute rooms! Hey, what is the name of that handy-dandy baby sling you use? Shelli
